Miss.Tic appears with short pun poems and an image of this seductive super Parisienne.
Mystic she is, for no one knows exactly who she is. The artist does have a large flock of fans though. The stencil technique make the short pun poems fade away easily. You have to be quick to get a good view or picture. Fans track them down and pass them on.

About the author
This Sunday, Erasmuspc pays a tribute to the very well known Miss Tic of Paris. An alphabet exhibition this week: 26 photos.
On the internet, MissTic calls herself “an artist, a plastic surgeon and a poet from Paris”. She was born in 1956, and is most known for her stencil murals throughout Paris. The first stencil appeared in 1985. The stencils rub off so soon that you have to be fast to catch her.

The first ‘Miss Tics’ appeared in 1985. The very first one appeared in the 14th arrondissement, but soon she worked in the centre of Paris, the 1st arrondissement. Slowly, arrondissement by arrondissement, Miss Tic worked her way out. Each year, she adopts another arrondissement, following the numbers of the Parisian arrondissement count.
Twenty years later, in 2005, everyone held their breath, for Miss Tic was working in the last, the 20th arrondissement of Paris. She does not seem to want to quit yet though. In 2006, she jumped to the Bois the Vincennes, just outside of Paris. Will she move to the Bois the Boulogne next year?

Inspiring Cities Museum of CityPoems
Inspiring Cities has collected many citypoems over the years, as well as organized salons with citypoets and cities doing special projects. We have two criteria for what a citypoem is: the intention must be poetic, and it must be in the public realm of cities. Shapes, form and locations can and do differ.
The Museum of CityPoems has citypoems from cities all over the world. From Alhambra to Zonnebeke, from Taipei to Lima.
Got one yourself? Mail us your pictures (free of rights) and description, and we will publish.
